ITINERARY
You will be picked up at your hotel in Barcelona to start your tour in Passeig de Gracia. It is one of the most prestigious avenues in all of Catalonia and the second most expensive street in Spain. Emblematic and beautiful, it houses some of the main symbols of Catalan modernism and Noucentisme. It has numerous beautiful buildings by architects such as Gaudí and his Casa Batllo or La Pedrera, Puig i Cadafalch and his Casa Amatller, or Domènech i Montaner and his Casa LLeo Morera.
Casa Mila or La Pedrera is a UNESCO World Heritage Site a must see for those who want to discover Gaudí’s work and modernism at its finest. Casa Mila (La Pedrera) is regarded as Antoni Gaudi’s most iconic work of civic architecture due its constructional and functional innovations, as well as its ornamental and decorative solutions, which broke with the architectural styles of his day.
Next, we visit the Park Güell, UNESCO world heritage site, an unfinished project, commissioned this time by his best friend and patron Eusebi Güell. They together created their world famous park purely for pleasure. Although it never became the planned community that it was meant to be, but it’s now the most fairy-taleish park in Barcelona. You’ll be fascinated by the colors of its mosaic tiles, and you’ll also enjoy great views over Barcelona.
After the visit of Park Guell and free time we will continue to the breathtaking Sagrada Familia, his absolute masterpiece. Take your time admiring the stunning interior and exterior of this remarkable building, a must do highlight of any trip to Barcelona. The unfinished temple is a synthesis of its global conception of architecture. The richness of details, the work system and its meaning it is necessary to explain carefully in order to appreciate and understand this fascinating and extraordinary building in its entirety.
Throughout the tour, we will visit a complete sample of Gaudi’s works – unique, artistic and valuable buildings that have received recognition as UNESCO world heritage sites.

WHAT WILL YOU SEE
Casa Mila (la pedrera) Gaudí projected it in his professional fullness, at 54 years old , was his last civil work and supposed a rupture with the schemes of his time. The roof, an unusual cover and full of artistic strength that has nothing to do with the architecture of his time. They emphasize the hollows of the staircase, of symbolic forms that have become a symbol of Gaudí’s work. The Gaudí Space, located in one of the spaces with more character of the Gaudí architecture, the attic of La Pedrera. It consists of 270 catenary arches of flat brick and houses the only exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Gaudí. La Pedrera Apartment, a recreation of a house from the early twentieth century that brings us closer to the way of life of a bourgeois family, with furniture, household items of the time and ornamental elements designed by Gaudí.
Park Güell Park Güell is nowadays a public park but it was supposed to be a private residential area where Gaudí built the road, the main square, market square, entrance and gate buildings. His designs in the park are fairy-tale looking, amazing shapes and colours. From the Park there are great views over the city and the Mediterranean sea.
Sagrada Familia
Gaudí abandoned the Park Güell project and everything else, to dedicate himself body and soul to his masterpiece. The Sagrada Familia is a masterpiece, without comparison. The unfinished temple is a synthesis of its global conception of architecture. The richness of details, the work system and its meaning it is necessary to explain carefully in order to appreciate and understand this fascinating and extraordinary building in its entirety. The architectural complexity, the use of innovative materials, the brightness of its stained glass windows and the interior space leave you speechless. Our visit will end if you wish in Sagrada Familia to live an experience of free time with all the necessary knowledge you will never forget.
